My gym is currently trying to push me into circuit training. Is it any good? I'm a simple man, all I do is eat healthy, lift heavy & run on the treadmill. If i'm feeling fancy I might take a multi and some fish oils. So if any of you have tried it please let me know what your thoughts are

Circuit training is a great way to incorporate your strength training and cardio. It has helped me to burn a lot of fat calories!!

All I do are circuits, some shorter than others though. I mostly do P90X which most workouts are a circuit by doing from one exercise right into another one.

I was a pretty simple girl, too (treadmill, some weights, some spin), but when I got injured this summer and couldn't run, I started doing a 45-minute cardio/circuit class at my gym 2x/week.

I thought I was gonna die after the first class -- and I thought I was in shape! And now it's a couple months later, and I can tell the biggest difference. Everything is stronger, my endurance is better, and I can push all my other workouts a little harder. I even ran today for the first time since my injury, and was able to do 30 minutes and 3 1/2 miles without a problem, even after 3 months of no running. I can tell a BIG difference. You should do it.

That being said, my class is free -- don't know if they wanna charge you for yours...!

Circuits are good to switch it up. They are mostly for muscle endurance.
