Does anyone else do this?
So whenever I open an email, text, or forum topic post and the original message is as long as a novel, I do not focus on reading it very well.
Actually, I tend to not read it at all and just respond in a random manner. Guess I am an impatient person who perfers to be concise. Anyone else this unfocused? Go!

Was there irony involved?0 -
Dude, when I open a forum topic and see a huge paragraph, I just press BACK. UNLESS they break it up into smaller paragraphs and maybe capitalize words and offer expressions that I can instantly see from scanning over it. THAT might keep me locked in and decide if it's worth even reading the whole thing.0

If I am really busy, I won't read something that is very long. And if I can't read it completely, I won't comment on it. I just move on. If I have time though, I read them. Some posts are long by necessity. I don't think I'm unfocused or impatient, just busy at times.0

I totally skim for important parts haha0

Yup, especially if there are no paragraphs to break it up, I read probably 2 sentences tops.0

I find that if there is just a huge wall of text I just exit the topic. If you want to write something long just break it up into smaller paragraphs- geez- so much easier to focus on that way.0

My brain automatically makes it so I read things wrong to keep me entertained. For instance, my brain will tell my eyes to read spanks instead of snacks.0

I think I love you!!!! In a non sexual way.....ok ok A bit like that too0

I usually just skip the OP and head straight for the comment section. There's usually more interesting conversation there.0

i skim. sometimes what's there is important but long. most of the time, i think the writing helps the poster sort out what they're really trying to say that they answer their own question.0

I scroll through the poster photos to see if there's anyone I find interesting, funny, or troll that I want to bash0
-
Yes. I also stop reading posts when the word 'loose' is used instead of 'lose'.0
