When I jog for 30 minutes at 3.7 mph (and yes I call this jogging because I can not for the life of me WALK at 3.7 without falling) , my treadmill says I burnt 270 cal. whereas MFP says I burnt 214 cal. Who do I listen to?

Do you log your weight or gender into the treadmill? If not, MFP is more likely to be correct. The machine might be using a set default.0

Yes I did log my weight and age into my treadmill.0 -
I'd go with MFP. It is better o underestimate than overestimate as far as calories burned.0
