SO FRUSTRATING

When I started my weight loss journey I was 167 lbs and wanted to lose 40.. and after 30 lbs I still have the same goal. But when I was 167 and told people I wanted to lose 40, especially my family, everyone freaked out. My one aunt even thought I only weighed 125 lbs!
And now people tell me I need to stop losing weight
Just leave me alone it's my body! I have set these goals for myself and I want to reach them
I'm not going to be "too skinny" or gross in TEN LBS.
ugh

I get the same thing from everyone. It's up to you how u look. I understand everyone's concern, but sick I am not trying to be. I have been told "you don't weigh that much", or "you look great now". OK, I DON"T FEEL GREAT..lol. It's about how you feel. When you start getting close to your 10, take note of what ppl are saying and keep a look at yourself so as to not get a sucked up look. I am 5'9 and wanted to get to 140. But I am going to 150 first and will judge from there.
May I ask how long it took you to lose that weight? I am starting to slow down and it's freakin me out, I haven't even hit 20 off yet.0 -
Why are you listening to other people?
Just do what makes you happy.0 -
I think we all hear it. I get it too after losing 56 lbs. I am the smallest I have been since I was like 12 - they are just "adjusting" to the new you and a probably a little worried too. I always hear that I should stop losing and just maintain - even my boyfriend says it. They are worried I will become anorexic or something - no where near that. Just let them "adjust" to the new you because it is different than what they are used too.0

It's taken me since February to get down 30 lbs. It's been a really slow road for me. I lost 12 lbs the first 4 months( SO SLOW)
then another 12 over the summer 3 months, and since the end of august I've only lost 5..
It's probably because I'm really short, and it's going to be really hard to lose these last 10 lbs0 -
