Headaches and Jump Training ( 30Ds)

Just stared on level 3 of the 30 day shred ( yay for us as my partner is doing it too!) yesterday and found while I was going the jump training stuff ( Jumps squats, sumo jumps) we both get a headache right in front of our forehead. Last night was a killer and my partner felt dizzy, but it went as soon as we stopped jump training. Tonight wasnt as bad, but still had a headache as soon as we started. Anyone else experience this? any remedies? I was thinking more water, opening the living room window? breathing? but not sure if im on the right track. Any input will be greatfully received

Cheers x

I found that I got a headache from clenching my jaw or tensing my face/body in anticipation of jumping... jumping has never been my strong suit and my head would kill me when I was doing jump training (p90x). I had to really be careful not to clench up

I started Level 3 and have noticed headaches/being dizzy as well!! I'm on Day 5 of Level 3 and havent had a problem with doing any of the exercises. I dont feel like I'm over worked or anything either. I thought maybe i was dehydrated so I drank extra water but this didnt seem to help. I would definitely like to see what people have to say

I'd agree with this. I actually used to get headaches from running and went to the doctors about it because I thought there was maybe something wrong with my teeth. But it turns out I was clenching and I was given advise to massage my jaw muscles before exercising. It helps!

I only got a headache from the rockstar jumps so i just do butt kicks instead. The rest of the jumping doesn't bother me.

I used to get headaches from jumping exercises (especially jumping rope). I've noticed since my blood pressure has gone down this doesn't happen anymore. Possibly related? (Just did some reading -- apparently blood pressure/headaches is a very rare correlation. The more you know!)
