I have one of these, and was just wondering if anyone that has one, has used it for swimming?

I have used mine a few times for swimming and I've had no problems at all. just make sure you dont use any of the buttons when in the water as it lets the water into the watch and will break it!

i use my HRM in the water all the time. buttons too. the damn thing says water resistant. pressing a button will not allow water into it and break it.

I'm just going by the manual, and it says not to use the buttons when in the water

same here, i swim with my FT1 but dont press the button under water, just incase. I dont think you need to ever have a reason to press it under water anyway, just stick you arm out and press it.
  • ty for ur replies, might have a go at swimming next week
