Just for fun...Halloween cocktails

I found these two halloween cocktails in my local paper:
Blood Sipper
1 cup each - fresh or frozen strawberries, fresh or frozen raspberries and fresh or frozen cranberries
1 cup pomegranate juice
750ml bottle of vodka
Combine all ingredients in a blender and pulse several times to just chop the fruit. Refrigerate for at least an hour or up to several hours. Pour the vodka fruit mixture through a mesh strainer and press the solids to extract as much liquid as possible, then discard the solids.
The infused vodka can be sipped straight chilled or mixed with apple cider, ginger ale or coconut cream.
Corpse Reviver
1 oz each of gin, Lillet (Blanc), triple sec
juice of half a lemon
5 drops of absinthe (anise flavored spirit)
1 thin slice of orange
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the gin, Lillet, triple sec, lemon juice and absinthe. Strain into a martini glass, then garnish with the orange slice.
Enjoy...I am going to make the Blood Sipper this weekend.

They sound really good. I'll have to file this away for next year. We're skipping our halloween party this year.0

Those sound yummy. I am going to send them to my daughter in CO as she always has a huge Halloween party. Thanks so much for sharing!0
