Hi Everyone -

I am Tara. 38, mom of three, married to an amazing husband. Work part-time in addition to the chaos that goes with this busy house! :)

I've been on a roller coaster ride most of my life with weight loss and have been "stuck" at the same weight for the past two years. Still have 25 pounds to go in order to reach my goal weight.

Trying to do it the right way -- exercise and watching what I'm eating, trying to fuel my body with smart, healthy choices. (BUT - it still has to be yummy and I *am* human -- always a challenge.)

I feel like the exercise is nailed down -- I just started P90X this week and supplement it with running, pilates, walking, etc. It's ALWAYS the food that gets me, which is why I feel like having additional support from other people who get it would be fabulous. Encouraging others and watching them succeed with their own journeys is also super motivating to me!

Happy to be here!! :)

Welcome to the site. I am also 38 and a mother of 3 and have a weakness for the junk food. I tried P90X for about a week but couldn't find the time to do it every single day...good luck to you with it; it is a challenge!! I now go to the gym 3-5 times a week wherever it fits into my schedule and have been a member of MFP for a couple weeks now and I LOVE it!

I would love to be your friend on MFP to help motivate and could always use motivation myself. Please add me :flowerforyou:
