Welcome! I have found that there is an amazing amount of support to be found on this site! I joined a while ago but really only started to use the site almost a month ago...so far so good!! Good luck and feel free to add me if you want more support!

Hey Tina, welcome to MFP. I've been on this site for 2 months, it's great everyone is so supportive. My progress has been slow only 4lbs so far and 4 inches off in total, but I am eating so much healthier than before and exercising is becoming an addiction. I'm an ex-smoker too, stopped 4 years ago which is when I started to gain weight.

It's best to get some friends on here first of all (I'll send you a request) and then the support starts to build, looking at each other's food diaries really helps and if you join in a group challenge that will keep you motivated.

    Have fun, Sam
