My new Polar F6....question?

Hi everybody!
I just bought a new Polar F6, and so far it seems great, very pleased with the purchase I was reading the manual though, and I have what might be the stupidest question ever.....can I turn it off to save on the battery? lol Thank you for any replies :flowerforyou:

It's like a watch, so you really can't turn it off sorry.

I've had mine for about 2.5 yrs now and never needed to change the battery - who knows how long it was sitting on the shelf, so I'm not sure what the normal life of the battery is.

I have an F3 that I got >2yrs ago. I just recently (2 weeks ago) changed the watch battery. The strap is a seperate issue. My understanding is that the strap has to be sent back when the battery in it goes bad...
