Not hungry in the morning... I mean afternoon?

So lately I have noticed I don't start to get hungry until after I've eaten something during the day. I get to bed around 6am *yes I know :(* and get up around 3:30 to 4pm. I don't get hungry until later at night! Now the equivalent of a normal schedule would mean I wouldn't be hungry until 2-3pm in the day! I worked out yesterday, burned 1,000 calories in total and ate a bunch. I was starving this morning!!! I figure this is a good thing, but how can I do that more often? How can I get my digestive system to stay working and not slow down like it has lately? (I've been in a plateau... lol!)

you should eat when you get up anyway something small, to kick start your metabolism. I have the same problem, i work during the night, so I have a bad habit of eating wat to close to bedtime in the morning and no wanting to wat until my night is halfway over.

I am the same way, I forced my self to eat and I am seeing improvements. Its like my body needed to be trained on when I wanted to feed it.

Meal frequency does not matter, just be sure to get your calories in each day.

I am not going to go on and on about breakfast being the most important meal of the day.

Are you eating something before you train? Even an apple/banana/protein shake would be easy with your night owl ways :).

I premake breakfast like baked oatmeal (right now I am on a pumpkin kick - but there are many yummy varieties out there) or some muffin tin frittatas.

These can be quickly reheated in oven or microwave and done once for the week so you don't feel like you are constantly cooking :).

Luckily it sounds like you are getting enough rest :).
  • I get up at 5:00 AM Mon - Fri. I eat something about 5:30 and at 6:00 I exercise. That seems to kick start my metabolism. Everyone is different, so you may need to switch things up to find the best options for you and your wake/sleep cycles.
