hello all,

i want to make a bolognese, spaghetti bolognese type but dont want it with spaghetti or pasta cause of the calories and carbs what other ideas does everyone have please.

    pour it over a baked potato...

    I've seen people here make zucchini spaghetti. Do a search and you should be able to find it.
    As for the sauce, you can roast tomatoes and add them that way. Good luck!
  • Use spaghetti squash. Cut open, scoop out seeds, roast in 375 oven in baking dish with some water ( to help steam) cut side down until squash is cooked and separates into strands that look like pasta. It tastes pretty good with sauce and you won't miss the pasta. Hope that helps.

    As for the spaghetti squash, she's in the uk... And if you can find it in the uk, good luck to you! I couldn't:sad:

    Baked potato is ok I had I the other day with some brown bread that that was it. I had tonnes of mushrooms in it too so it was quite bulked out.

    What about over brown rice, or try whole-grain pasta to make it a little healthier.

    thanks everyone i had it over jacket potato, was really filling, thanks for all your advice i will defo try the squash another time yummy!!
