the new smurfs movie

i'm thinking about taking the boys to a cheap theater matinee of it. how was it? worth the money or wait for the redbox/netflix?

I saw it when it first came out. It wasn't too bad. It's nothing like the smurfs we knew growing up. It has a few adult moments, but it's pretty cute!

My 11 year old enjoyed it. My 6 year old was bored (but he's less of a tv watcher than the other one). My 2 year old liked the parts she managed to sit still for. For me it was just ok....

We took our kids and our neighbor's kids when it first came out. All 5 kids, ages 18 months to 10, loved it (although the tiny guy was not a fan of the 3d glasses). It is way different then the smurfs we are used to but it was a fun movie for them (and us lol)!

we went and it was smurferiffic. no actually, it wasn't but i just wanted to say smurferiffic. it was okay; not neil patrick harris' best work. but the boys enjoyed it and that is all that matters.
