How long does it take?

How long do you think it takes for a REALLY bad day to catch up to you? I mean scale-wise? Do you think one day will make a difference? Yesterday was incredibly stressful and I had a pissy, WTHeck attitude. At mid-day I just said whatever! just eat. Not a good decision I know but after getting so far into negative calories I just gave up.

Back on track today but just thinking how & when it will catch up with me. I know I felt tired & very sluggish last night & today I am dragging a bit.

Thoughts?

You'll probably feel like crap for a day or so - the scale will go up a little because of water retention due to excess sodium, but drink plenty of water to flush the sodium, get back on track with your eating and working out, and in a few days the scale will be right back to where it was. One day isn't going to un-do all your progress.

Honestly, where we are all different and no two people/reactions are alike, there isnt really an across-the-board list of yes or no... Just keep being honest with yourself and post what your intake was, and just pick up with a new day of making on-queue choices...

So far I've cheated badly twice since I started MFP 9 days ago and it hasn't stopped me from losing weight though I prob could have lost 1-2 more lbs if I hadn't...

Honestly, one off day probably won't affect you at all. Lots of people take weekly cheat days. And when they cheat, they seriously cheat. Doesn't seem to affect them. I wouldn't worry about it, other than the fact that you reacted to a bad day by eating. Might want to meditate on that some.
