i need some motivation

Hi everyone. I've been having a rough few weeks. I've been eating poorly, rarely working out, feeling crummy, i keep going up and down the same 5lbs, I just feel blah.
I recently just got my certification to become a Turbo Kick Instructor and I know I should be estatic and feeling great and wanting to practice every damn day, but i am having a really hard time. I know I should probably see my psych doc and get my depression meds checked out but even that seems impossible.
I just need a good kick in the *kitten* and maybe a workout buddy. lol.
What do you do to motivate yourself and what do you do to lose weight? anything you love?

also, if you want your students to take you seriously, look the part. There's nothing worse than a wannabe trainer who looks like an out of shape fat *kitten*. (im not calling you a fat *kitten*)0 -

lol. believe me. i definitely agree. i'm not an instructor yet though. i have to memorize the choreography and match it to the music and add in the cues and then audition at a ton of places and see who wants to hire me. i need to make a goal. i think that's my problem. my goal was to surpass my lowest weight (180.8lbs) and once i did...i just slacked off. so now i got back and forth from 177 to 181. At least i'm maintaining. I feel like I'm getting mushier though. I just need to get my **** together and start weight training and then have my practice sessions for turbo kick be my cardio.

I know someone that is a great guitarist, he decided he was bored with it because he just wasn't progressing. A friend of his that taught Guitar told him to go home and try to play his guitar using his other hand. Why would I do that? To see how far you have come, and nothing worth doing is easy! The teacher was right, he remembered what it was like to struggle to do the basics. I am looking forward to being where you are, maybe you should try to do your Turbo Kick class with 71lbs strapped to you to remember how far you have come and what an inspiration you can be to others that still have that 70lbs to go.
