I am a nursing mom and I've been using MFP for about 3 weeks now. Finally, something that makes sense to me... it's all in the math... mostly, anyway. It seems to be working, but could it work better? I looked over my food diaries for the past 3 weeks and found that I am exceeding my recommended daily fat intake about 80% of the time. I am losing weight, so maybe it is okay to exceed the recommendation while I am still breastfeeding??

If you're getting good healthy fats and you're still losing weight, I would not worry about it at all.0
