Hungry Girls e-mail today was all about Super Bowl food. I picked up the book yesterday so I'll probably make some of the guy friendly recipes out of there.

I'll indulge, but carefully. I usually at parties allow myself to take a little bit of only the things that I HAVE to have. And then mostly good stuff. If there's anything good there. Haha.

I will be running in a 5K in the morning, so I will have earned some extra calories that day

Stiil- I have decided- only 2 beers and no gorging on any crappy food.

    slightly off topic:
Has anyone else come to the realization that staying within my calories means that I'll never be "drunk" again? And I am so happy about that. No hangovers, no puking, no blood vessels around my eyes all burst from the pressure of getting sick (sorry if I'm being graphic, I am starting to realize that I was WAAAAY overdoing it with alcohol)

In the past I have gone to a dear friend's house where we eat and drink too much. I purposely accepted an invitation to a new place (the gal is a marathon runner who eats very healthfully). Today I had to tell the dear friend that I could not attend. I feel like I am making a heathy choice.

I also feel like a traitor.
