how bad is it to be far under fat in your diet? If I happen to eat some guacamole and peanut butter than I come in at about 30g or so but otherwise I end up about 10g a day. I know being low on protien is bad for muscles and energy but what is wrong with having low fat in your diet?

I don't think there is anything wrong with it. We just have to make sure we get enough (at least 10% of our diet, I have heard) to absorb our vitamins and to feel satiated.

Essential fatty acids are really important for your nervous system (including your brain).

Also, I'm not sure of the chemistry behind it but getting enough of the right fats can improve the rate of fat loss.

It can also make foods more satisfying so you'll be less likely to plump for a less healthy energy fix with little/no nutritional value that'll leave you hungry, if not hungrier 5 minutes later!

The key thing is that you get fat from the right sources most of the time..your on the right track with peanut butter, guacamole/avocado etc.

Bad long term. Fine short term, in my opinion.

I will often miss my fat macro for a few days in a row and I'll make up for it with a high fat day.

Fat is very healthy for you and fuels certain bodily functions/hormones/etc. Continual neglect of dietary fat is NOT a good idea.
