Hi :-)
My names Angel and I'm not really new to MFP but i never realized that it had message boards and allowed us to have "friends" LOL!
I started dieting and exercising about 3 months ago, lost about 10lbs and broke my foot. It set me off completely and I started eating more - and walking less.
So, this week I've finally gotten doctor's clearance to begin my exercise program again. I'm big into treadmills and resistance strength training.
I was 248, Now I weigh 208- and my goal is to be 150 by November 2012.
I also want to get pregnant as we've been trying for 3 years with no luck- because i am overweight (and have PCOS) My doctor says it will clear up if i loose a few lbs, and so far it is working and I'm having menstrual cycles again.
It's hard, and i have a lot of emotional issues because my 3 sister in laws are all pregnant, and so is my best friend... it seems like every time i hang out with them it sets me back and i eat. It sucks.

So basically, I would LOVE a support system with some ladies that might be going through the same thing I am going through.

Please add me :-)
<3xoxo

HI! :D I already have 2 kids from a previous marriage, and my husband I had gotten pg with twins in may, but they ended up being tubal, and I lost my right tube as a result. Getting pg has been difficult ever since. We decided to take a 6 month break, because I want to get healthier, and the stress of not being able to get pg is wearing me down. Good luck on your weight loss, I know a lot of people who had the same issue, and as soon as they lost a few pounds, they got pg really quickly!!

I really hope it works! I went from having cycles every 6 months (YES, i said SIX!) to having about 30 day cycles and one was 57 days. SOOOO im thinking that its getting better. :-) hopefully! Ive been thinking about taking a break but only stopped charting, i still have the maybe baby app running on my phone. lol.
  • I don't have pcos but my husband and I hope to conceive a child one day (when it is right). We have 3 already from my previous relationship but would like one more to complete our family. I miscarried this September. I really feel like my weight needs to be down more. I have been heavy in the past while pregnant and it was very painful. I have some back issues and issues with pinched nerves so I'm here trying to become healthy again. :)
  • Hello Angel :)

First of all, congratulations on ur 40 lb weight loss :) thats amazing! ur half way there to meet ur goal. I know sometimes things dont always happen the way we would like them to but dont let that distract u from ur goals. Stay positive and work on you first and when the time is right ur wish will come true.

Just like u i could use a good support system:) lately ive been distracted. i guess its been stress and a lil depression. See i have been looking for work for months now and havent been success in finding anything. So sometimes it gets to me. but ive decided to focus on one thing at a time otherwise ill drive myself nuts :)

My weight lost goal is to loose a total of 140lbs i ffigure i can do 8-10lbs a month.

Keep in touch and we can motivate each other:)
