Morning my beautiful friends! Ok, so today I did Tae Bo for the first time. I rented it on DVD first to see if I liked it before buying. Can I just say that this kicked my butt!!!! I could only last 11 minutes! I think I need to lose 20 more pounds before I have the stamina for this!! Anyone else experience this on Tae Bo or any other new routine they have tried? xoxo

I have done it and it is fun and hard. Your post makes me want to dust it off again. I think you should just keep doing 11 minutes. Then in a week do 14 minutes and keep adding to it. Before you know it you will be doing the whole thing!! Keep it up!0

My mother and I did WW about 7 years ago and Tae Bo was our exercise regimen 3 times a week. We could only do about 10 minutes the first few tries, but then it got easier and before you know it, you can follow the whole thing. It's a great work out, gets everything working and you sweat a lot, but feels great when you're done. I agree with the previous poster, definitely keep doing what you can & soon you'll see that you can do all of it and enjoy the results0

Do you remember the name of the workout you did? I used to do it back in high school in the late 90s and it was much easier. Some of his newer workouts are harder, faster, more intense. If you can find his 'Cardio' workout from back in the day, you might have a better time with it. (Make no mistake, it's still a great workout and you'll be bustin' a move with it.)
I'd also recommend his '8 Minute' workout. Also an old one, but I found the entire thing posted on Youtube. And I think his workout called "The Strenghth Within" is part of a series of tapes for Christians. It seems to be a bit easier: slower, not so intense or fast-paced.
I tried to do the one called "This is Tae Bo" and ended up turning it off after 14 minutes, saying "This is Impossible". I went back to the older ones and I'm getting good workout from those. By the way, I found the complete workouts of all of the ones I mentioned on Youtube, so I'd recommend trying them out there to see how they work for you.
Best of luck!!

I Started Tae Bo when I was 280lbs and I would only last about 10 minutes also but every time I put the dvd in I would last a few minutes longer. After 1 month of doing Tae Bo every other day I lost 18 lbs and was able to finally complete and entire session. I looked like a complete fool because lets face it my body just wouldn't bend that way. But I am now down to 205lbs and I mix it up between Tae Bo and Zumba. I ended up buying the Billy Banks Tae Bo Boot Camp it has different levels and 4 dvds I got it at Target I think I paid about $50.00. Tae Bo is fantastic hard and you feel like your not doing anything right in the beginning but trust me it works.0

I agree with SkinnyJ. Keep doing it, adding a little more each time. I would find that fun simply because you would be able to clearly see your progress. 11 minutes for day 1 to 30 minutes on day 10, you know? Keep at it!0

To mommy1182: What an inspiration! 18 pounds in one month! Ok, I am definitely going to stick with it then. Thanks!0
