how do U use your HRM?

When at the gym do you leave it running the whole time you are there? For instance, if you go from walking the treadmill to the elliptical do you stop it in between to find your calorie burn for the individual workout or leave it on for a total calorie count?

    I leave it running unless I take a LONG break

    I leave mine running too, i usually leave it running until my heart rate has returned to approxiamtely normal too

    I leave mine running starting with my warm up and ending with my cool down. Even though I switch from cardio to strength training and it affects my average heart rate. I just check my average heart rate between the switch so that I'm sure to have stayed within range during my cardio :)

    I put mine on when I get to the gym, warm up, weights, cardio then I check it when I'm through.

    I stop and reset mine if I switch machines. I like to log each type of exercise separately.

    I only pause it while I am exercising my jaw muscles!
