So on the weekends I am so busy running from one job to the next, doing school work, and getting to the gym. I usually grab subway (6 inch turkey w all the veggies no cheese no mayo) and an unsweetened black iced tea from Starbucks. Is it o.k. to have this a few times a week??? None of it is super processed or anything so I figured it isn't harming me at all.

totally fine, you can ask them to hollow the bread a bit to save calories. Tastes better this way to me. A splash of oil and vinegar on there doesn't hurt either...

Lots of the meat from Subway is processed. The Turkey is for sure. So there are a lot of nitrates and sodium in it. I looked up the calorie intake for just a plain sandwich and its like 500 calories. If that works for you, then go for it, just be sure to keep the rest of your intake down. If it works for you, go for it. And dump on those veggies. Thats the best part of subway.

You might have been looking at the footlong calories. Because I get turkey with only veggies, a splash of oil, and mustard it really isn't that many. When you start adding different kinds of meats, cheese and mayo is when the calories jump up.

That is a great idea I never though to ask them that. I do get a splash of oil, I love the taste :) But you always have to make sure to tell them a very tiny bit haha otherwise your sandwich is drenched!!

Last time I went to Subway I found a fly in my ham. I'm not ready to go back yet.

It's a lot better than alll the other fast fod places you could go! I get Turkey breast, veg, no cheese, deli mustard and it comes out to under 350 kcal.

Try packing snacks and lunches. Subway can get you so many ways and remember your body will hit a wall if you get into a routine

I love Subway. Try different varietes of sandwiches such as white egg, pepperjack cheese, and veggies on 6" wheat. The salads are also a nice option. I'm on the road with my work and Subway offers great choices.

That's not exactly true. So long as IFIYM's then it should be fine. I get the veggie sub on whole wheat here and there. I wouldn't eat their meat. But if you wanted meat on it, you could always cook up a chicken breast beforehand and put it on yourself :)

That is a great idea! I didn't think of adding my own chicken breast onto the sandwich. I am usually in desperate need of grocery shopping by the weekend that's why I do this but if I save up some chicken that would be yummy :)
