I wish all restaurants had one as user-friendly as Red Robin's. I am going to dinner with friends and now know exactly what to order - AND what to avoid. This is a really helpful tool and I wish more places had one as good as theirs. Kudos to Red Robin! :flowerforyou:

Applebee's has a great one too. Many of the large chains have them actually. It really does make eating out more fun for mea s i am not always hoping I guess about what's good for me.

In the US, by the end of the year all restaurants with over 20 locations (I believe that is the magic number) will have to have their nutrition information readily available. Many do already since the deadline is coming up quickly.

Subway has one where you build your sandwich and you can know exactly what it will consist of.
  • If the place we're wanting to go doesn't have info online, I'll look at the stuff stored in the MFP app beforehand to pick something that fits my regimen.

Another tip is to look at the menus online. I had a work lunch at Hard Rock Cafe the other day and was panicking. While the Hard Rock Cafe doesn't list their nutritional information they do put their menus online. Since New York and a few other states require calories have to be on the menu I just looked at one of those restaurant locations.

That's a good idea, too, thanks. I have been eating at home much more so I am more sure of what I am eating, but when I want to go out with friends I like to plan ahead. Although, it HAS been better for my wallet.
