Recently i finished up uni for the semester and i had a baby 5 weeks ago so i am on here trying to lose a tonne of weight and being at home all day i have become addicted to this site! I am on here every spare second I have, out of boredom and seeking inspiration and motivation! Is anyone else like this? If so please add me, we can be addicted together.
I don't know if it's a good thing but i'm thinking about food and exercise all the time. Today i can't go out to exercise because my fiance took the car with the pram and baby carrier to work, so all day i have been thinking about how i'm going to burn those calories, i've even been doing pushups and exercises for a couple of minutes when i can. It's hard having kids and fitting in time for exercise so i figure if i do 2 minutes 10 times a day it's better then nothing. Also i'm making sure my diet is perfect today if i can't exercise properly.

You're definitely not alone. This site definitely competes strongly with Facebook with me. My Christmas wishlist now has only fitness related items on it LOL It can only be good, right?
And you're right - any exercise is better than none and if I can't exercise, I make sure I watch my calories.0 -
Totally agree with you! I have been thinking about food and exercise... It's so addictive now. It's good rather than just giving up! You'll definitely be able to reach your goal! Cheers ^_^0

^^ This. My wish list is also full of fitness related things too! How times change haha.
I am totally addicted to MFP ... I dont use it to track my food or log exercise that much as I have a huge spreadsheet set up for that. However I am constantly reading through all of the threads which is never ending. This is how I have been learning so much about exercise and nutrition!!0 -
I am addicted too!!! this site and my MFP friends!0

Hello. My name is Helen, and I am a My Fitness Pal addict.
I have a LOT of weight to lose. I like how this site has other things to track than just calories. I can focus on getting enough Potassium, less sodium and cholesterol and not just whether calories add up right or not. I have noticed I actually feel awful when I've had too much sodium the day before. I never made the connection before. I always wondered why I had a hangover when I didn't have the pleasure of even a glass of wine the night before.
I want a heart rate monitor for Christmas. One without a chest strap. I'm still too big for a chest strap.0
