I have lost 44lbs. in 90days. I am just listening to MFP. I am trying to stay as close to my calorie limit as possible and if I go over like today I exercise to cover it. I don't exercise as much as I should but I eat much much healthier than I used to and have cut out alot of stuff from my diet!!!!0

96 total...lost the first 90 in 6 months...then had back issues and slowly lost the last 6. I've been maintaining since late aug/early sept. So just a few months. I used to work out a lot more than I do now. I still work out about 5-6 days a week for at least 30 mins a day.
You can do whatever you put your mind to!!
Edit: I do stay home with my kids, but they are all very young, so Im pretty busy and I've done it with just change of diet, and exercise!:)0 -
I have lost 38.5 lbs in 6 months. I workout 6-7 days a week, don't always eat my excercise cals back. Have to lose alot more.0

I lost 100 pounds in 9 1/2 months and 108 pounds in 11 months. I'm about to hit my one year mark on MFP. I am almost to goal and doing great.0

48.9kg (107.58lbs) since Mid August 2010 - kinda maintained that since May this year, but have started to lose a few lbs again now that I've found MFP!
I have a hugely physical lifestyle so it was just a matter of being responsible for my choice of what went in my gob and making a plan to have 3 meals a day not starve and binge on crud! Protein shakes for on the run are my friend!!!!
I haven't used any fancy tricks or pills - its just being accountable for what you eat, and being sensible. Also its a long and hard journey, don't give up, just keep putting 1 foot in front of the other - you truly ARE worth it!!!!0 -
I have lost 95 pounds in 15 months. I started on September 14, 2010 and have done this by eating within my calorie goals and exercising 4 to 5 days a week. I have been at a plateau for 8 weeks which is really discouraging but I am still sticking with it because I know it will be worth it all down the road. I would like to get to 160 and then try for 140. But the main thing is that I want to be healthy when I get to my goal. When people ask me how I have lost the weight I say 4 things: Proper Diet, Exercise, Determination, and Sheer Willpower0

I have lost 131 pounds in 18 months...I have been eating 1,200 calories a day , cut out sodas completely , exercise EVERYDAY! And I have stayed committed and DETERMINED!
Thought I would add , I have lost 73 since I joined MFP , that's why my ticker say that and not 1310 -
Ive lost 100lbs exactly since Feb 2011.
I did it by eating clean and exercising everyday! I do not do cheat days but I do have days with more calories than others. I do not eat out EVER. I limit my sodium to less than 1000/day and do not eat prepackaged foods nor processed foods such as deli meats. Logging everything and staying within the guidelines to me is the single most important weight loss tool. If you stay within you will lose weight whether you exercise or not. If you dont exercise it will take you a lot longer to get to where you want to be. There is no QUICK FIX or SECRET just a lot a hard work. every day one day at a time one pound at a time.
You have to be totally committed and determined to not fail!
Good luck!
I wanted to add I also cut out all soda and I dont drink coffee so no caffiene.
I have 20lbs to my original goal. not sure if I am stopping there or not... depends on how I feel.0 -
60 lbs in 2 years with good ol' fashioned diet and exercise.0

I've lost 78 lbs since the end of March. I have done it by cutting calories. I rarely exercise as I have been on oxygen since March but am doing more and more now. Basically, I've been focused on increasing my daily activity level. I will be working on increasing planned exercise in 2012. Not to maintenance yet as I still have about another 120 lbs to lose.0

40 pounds in 6 months. Last 2 months I did Primal which allowed me to lose bodyfat..which has been difficult. I am now concentrating on losing the last 2% of bodyfat rather than the number on the scale
I do work out 6 days a week..and about 80-90% of the time..stick to eating clean..0 -
I have lost 57 lbs. It took me about a year, because for about 6 months of that I was dealing with some personal issues and I tend to turn to food to deal with them. I pretty much just count my calories and I am trying to slowly change my foods over to more natural and wholesome foods. Today I traded in my stash of Hershey Kisses for some 90% Dark Chocolate.0
