It's going into summer here and I have an awesome blender and want people's best smoothie recipes. (I love strawberries!)

This is really simple, but a smoothie I often have for breakfast in summer. It is just:
1 cup of frozen mixed berries (rasberries, blueberries & strawberries)
1 cup 1% milk
1/2 cup yoghurt (can be substituted for more milk)
1 scoop of vanilla protein powder (I use musashi 92 blend)
1/2 tbsp honey
A handful of ice
other optiions, add some banana (which I love but my partner isn't so keen on :P), you can also add flaxseed oil and/or psillium husks if you're being really good and don't mind the slightly grainy texture.
Healthy, a good protein hit and will keep you full for longer than expected.

I'll try that! Is Greek yoghurt the best?
Sadly no bananas yet. Too bloody expensive in Aus right now!0 -
yeah I know about the cost of bananas (I'm in Adelaide myself too). I just use natural yoghurt if we have any, otherwise I'll just top up with milk and add a little more ice to thicken it up a bit.0
