I currently weigh in the region of 250lbs. Is it too soon to try the 30ds?

I don't think so - I've spoken to quite a few people around the 240-260 mark and they've still done it! Be careful - listen to your body. Just take it easy, be smart and good luck!0

I'd say give it a go, just pause the DVD as you go along if needed-then you can make your aim to get the amount of pauses down each time you try it or something. :-)0

I started 30DS when i was about your weight. I did all of the modified exercise versions - and couldnt even keep up with those most of the time. I stayed with level one all the way thru and , by the end of the month, could finally get thru it.
Just try - you will be amazed at what you can do . Take it slow and do what you can. You will get better.0 -
Thank you for the support. We just moved the trips into a bedroom with their sister so now the 'playroom has lots of room for me to finally get moving before they all get up in the mornings!0
