Newbie to my HRM, quick question..

Hi!

I just purchased a Polar F4 this weekend with the chest strap. I just have a quick question. I take a morning walk that is about 2 miles. I could never figure out what speed I was walking in order to pick the correct MFP exercise under cardiovascular. It would be either 3.5 or 4mph. Even if it was 4mph, the calorie counter would say I burned about 199 calories. My hrm told told me that I burned 324! I'm very excited that's it's higher than I thought but I just wanted to check with ppl who have one. A lot of times I read it turns out to be lower than you think.

I'm 22, 5'4, 176.

    Very good question...I just purchased me the weekend as well...it should arrive this evening and I'm very excited to try my new toy. I've heard a lot of positive things about it...and would like to know if the monitor is slightly off.
