Seeing results...

I'm not being impatient - just a little curious.. How long does it normally take before you start seeing results from working out? I started working out last week, and am doing 3-5 days a week of cardio and weight training (only a total of 50 min./day as that's all I can fit into my schedule). Like I said - not expecting anything yet, just curious...

To see real results (you may feel firmer, etc before this) it takes about 1-2 months. You make a little progress every day, but after a month or two you can really tell a difference in your fitness...everything that was hard (or impossible) before become easier! And you can see a difference!

Good luck in your weight loss journey! :flowerforyou:

I say about 2-3 weeks! It is probably a good idea to check progress in inches if you're just starting out!

I felt results after only a few days. I was more energetic, and my body felt tighter. Maybe it was all in my head. On the scale it took me 3 weeks to see any change. In photographs I saw a noticeable difference after about 2 months (15lbs lost).

Thanks, everyone - I feel great! Even getting up early feels good (and that's not normal for me :noway: ) My husband said he could already tell that I'm toning up, and I thought he was just saying it for encouragement, which is nice. But, everything is already seeming easier - weights, the elliptical - and I look forward to going to the gym, which amazes me! Thanks for your input!
