My first goal in losing weight was to get to a healthy BMI of 25, I thought I had a lb to go but on a hunch last night I double checked my height and realised I was actually an inch taller than I thought, it turns out I've been at a healthy BMI for 20 days already, go figure. Sadly although I've lost over a stone it hasn't yet made much difference to my clothing size, still a 16-18 (UK size) in trousers. I'm beginning to fear that even if I lose another stone i won't go down a dress size my stomach just won't shift.

For most women, the stomach is the last to go. Don't get discouraged. I have lost a few pant sizes, but my stomach has only lost an inch. Everything that i had read says that it it the last place for the fat to be lost. Just keep at it, it will go.

Where a diet can be fast and furious, the MFP health and fitness and nutrition makeover is slow and steady - and you can count on it, like a train schedule! So just do what you need to do to stay on that train platform and trust me, your train will come in and you will get on it and ride into the sunset skinny and healthy! If you do a TINY little thing right, and then you do another tiny little thing right, you can see how you end up where the people that do the right thing end up! That's where you deserve to be. Keep up the great work. You got this!
