Altra Shoes - need HELP!!

So I've heard about those Altra shoes.
they are suppose to be wider around toes for natural fit. And I am willing to give them a try since my foot is naturally wide.
But I would love to hear some reviews. You can never trust those on their website since it might be them who put them up.
But if any of you runners out there are using them, please let me know.
I am used to run in Nike. tried Asics and they just don't work for me. I don't mind spending extra money. I began to run more and more ( avg, 35 miles a week) and training for 13.1 in March in NYC so it will be good investment,
