It matters not the success of another to form your opinion of the product. What it comes down to is the FACT that there is no Magic Bullet for weight loss. Stick to healthy choices and you will succeed.

Funny thing - none of the major success stories of MFP seem to mention any sort of product or gimmick. What they all have in common is good nutrition and exercise.

The only thing it will trim is your wallet.

^ Couldnt have said it better. IMo, body trim and other similar products may work in the short run but the minute you stop that 'diet' you have a very high chance of falling back into your old habits easily. As others have said, the best way to lose weight or improves your health is to eat fresh healthy food and exercise ... these products are a waste of money and wont do you any favours in the long run!!

Stick with good nutrition and exercise and you will not only reach your goal but be able to maintain it as well!!

My wife signed up to Bodytrim and I did the program with her for support for a while (and I actually lasted longer than she did). This, like a number of others preaches a very low carb and very high protein diet. It starts by eliminating all carbs for an initial three day period to send the body into Keytosis, then changes to an ongoing v low carb eating plan.

They say that no excercise is required (there's your first warning sign right there), and you WILL see weight loss results quite rapidly - but not healthy sustainable weightloss. Fitting in that much protein (three meals plus three snacks that are all protein based every day) was not easy for me at all.

I still keep some of the elements of the plan in my eating plan now (try to have protein with every meal and at least one of my snacks), minimise processed carbs like white bread and rice etc. But not to the extreme that bodytrim promotes. I also go to the gym again several times a week, and could not keep that up if I was on that plan.

My advice, save your money and just suck as much knowledge on diet/nutrition and healthy living as you can from all the experienced and knowledgable people on this site!
