We have a few more hours left until Halloween is over. What is your favorite movie? I like scary movies, but also don't mind watching Hocus Pocus...which I am doing right now. You can always count on it to be shown. Wishing there were more Halloween movies on TV right now.

I saw that was on! Another good one. Wouldn't mind seeing Nightmare on Elm Street. Haven't seen it on yet.

I have a special love for Night of the Living Dead (the original). I once had a co-worker from the Pittsburgh area, and he went to school with the actress who portrayed the little zombie girl in the movie (spoiler alert - the one who eats her dad and kills her mom at the end).

She told him that they used a sub sandwich for the scene where she eats her dad's arm. Since the movie was shot in black and white, the crew used chocolate syrup for blood - you can't tell the difference. She said that she had to do take after take eating that sub covered in chocolate syrup, and it nearly made her puke. He knew lots of neat trivia about that movie. I think about that every time I watch it.

But the first Halloween film is probably the quintessential scary movie. That and Friday the 13th - love Kevin Bacon back then!

I've never liked scary movies. Just can't get into them.

So my favorite? Nightmare Before Christmas - also one of my favorite Christmas movies  Love that it works for both! I'm also coming to like Corpse Bride and will always love Casper.
