Battle scars

My friends all make fun of me for being proud of the bumps, bruises, and scrapes I've sustained from working out. I'm currently sporting a bruised arm (whacked it into a barbell) and a skinned knee (wasn't watching where I was going and ate it on my last long run). What is your favorite battle scar?

Odd but my face is my stretch marks.... A reminder of where I am not going to return.... Other than that... Lol. Losing my toenails after my marathon made me feel pretty kick *kitten*!!!

My only scar so far is the remains of some nice road rash on my arm after being struck in a crosswalk while running with my Lab. I am not exactly proud of it, it wasn't a fun time and pretty much the reason why I have weight to lose.
(I used the flashing crosswalk lights and waited for traffic to stop. Unfortunately, the guy coming behind didn't see until too late and hit the car I was in front of, hitting me and my dog)

I occasionally get treated to a pedicure and they always comment on my feet and leg muscles...I take it as a good thing! :D

Holy curse word! Obviously you're alive and I hope doing well. Your poor puppy?
I hate drivers who don't pay attention!

Thanks. We were lucky. I suffered only soft tissue damage, which left me unable to be active for awhile, which led to weight gain. I am pretty much healed now, I still get headaches if I drive too long, sit in chairs without arm rests, etc. I am just working on the weight now.
I was really upset about my dog, but he was fine, just scared. A witness said the car knocked him over and he rolled out of the way. I was more worried about him at the time. He went to the vet and was checked over, he didn't even seem to be stiff the next day. He does have a lingering fear of loud noises now, understandably (he is not enjoying fireworks tonight).

Surgery zipper on my left knee from roller skating 40 mph.

That's old style 4 on the floor roller skates, my friends-- not these new fangled in-line thingies.
