Hi I have a friend who uses this site and I wanted to try it out also. I am excited yet nervous about the journey I am about to embark on. I have tried and tried to lose weight several times over the years but never stuck to it because I always got so darn hungry! I am somewhat here to lose the weight but I am more about just being healthy now. I have stopped smoking a year ago after smoking for 22 years and I just recently stopped drinking. To say the least the hand-to-mouth addiction I have is now with FOOD! Anyways, I am going to see a doctor tomorrow who will also be a big part of this healthy life style. Anyways, that's my story and I could use all the help, suggestions, tips, and support anyone is willing to provide. Thanks

You are in the right place! We all struggle and have our good days and our not so good days. Sometimes we have not so good weeks. But, we keep trying. This is a journey. It didn't take a day or a week for us to become overweight so it's going to take way longer then a day or a week to lose it. Welcome. You will find support here if you want it!! :-)
