Well, I played cards on Saturday night - so, that finished me right there.

I do feel like I'll be very good on the "no late-night snacking" this week, though. And, with my "celebratory" week behind me (and yes, it WAS fun!), I think the rest of November should be a relatively manageable thing.
I've got 5 weeks to goal, so I'm SERIOUSLY going to pour it on this week...0 -
Great work dewdrop and loveme445!:flowerforyou:0

Weird, because I went the whole last week of october without ANY late-night-snacking - and not even a CRAVING. It's a-raging, now.
I'm reading "Body for Life" today...hopefully that will motivate me in the right direction. I hope I don't bring the average down too badly!!0 -

Thanks, Lorna and Zaza, but I forgot yesterday to give Cesar's what's Cesar's : LNS have "earned" that 1 point. You are't doing bad yourselves
Beeps, how's the book? I think I read here on MFP that it is really worth reading.0 -
This is exactly what I need! I can't seem to control myself! I hope you all don't mind that I join. Starting from Sunday, my score is a pathetic:

Hopefully I can get back on track :sad:0 -
It is a good book....an easy read (i'm kind of skimming, actually). The 'before-and-after' pictures are AMAZING.
I'm not aiming for "elite" athletic status...I just want to feel "controlled" in my choices rather than controlled BY my choices.
(That's why this is an AWESOME thread - it is ONE CONCRETE thing I can choose to do each day - just DON'T eat at night. Simple!)0 -

spikesmom, I hear you - that is exactly how I am with sweets. Having a very hard time skipping all sweets even for one day.
All you need to do for this challenge is not eat after your cut-off time so be realistic about the time and then get out of the kitchen for the rest of the night!! Floss and brush your teeth. Distract yourself - just don't eat. Think about us. Good luck! I want to see a win for you tomorrow.:flowerforyou:

Thank you zaza. I was good last night! I made my cutoff 8 p.m. I work, and try hitting the gym before getting home to make dinner, so we eat pretty late. But sweets are just so tough!

It's good to see a number on my side My problem is that I will fall asleep on the sofa, wake up a couple of hours later, and then it's a snackapalooza until I finally go to bed hours later. last night, as soon as I felt sleepy, I went to bed. I still woke up around 1 a.m., but stayed in bed until I dozed off agin. Hopefully, I can keep this up!0 -

Can I justify my response??
I was sooo good all day, and I knew I had a birthday party to go to after work. so I ate very carefully, went to spinning, then headed to the party. Dinner was late, we cut the birthday cake and all was well. Then, I just had to grab a handful of M&M's on my way out the door home! Why?? This is such an issue for me!0 -

Hi, I'm new!
I'm a terrible late night snacker. Lately I've discovered pomegranates. It seriously takes me about 35-45 minutes to eat one of those, and they are like 110 calories (and I swear I burn at least 1/4 of that fighting my way into them).0 -

Date night, but it got started late, so the eating was late. Oh well. I'm gonna do good this weekend.0 -
I would love to join this challenge, especially since i constantly find myself wanting a snack when i get off at 1:30am. This is when i tend to stop at walgreens and grab some chocolate or other things that i shouldn't. I will make my cutoff time 8pm. Oh is gum allowed after this time?0

Welcome lindahaysouth and theoddlittleduck!:flowerforyou:
This is a great challenge. Makes all the difference for me.
Regarding gum, I think it's perfectly fine after cut-off time. I chew Trident, which is sugarless, and dentist says it's actually good for the teeth.

I was so good last night, even though it was date night with hubby Iced tea is all I had after dinner, even though hubby was pushing for us to go out for ice cream.0
