Help! I am not a morning person and have a hard time getting up. Therefore I don't want to cook in the morning. Lucky I can get dressed and out the door in time for work. Any ideas for quick easy low calorie breakfasts? Also trying to keep my sugar intake low.

Try making scrambled eggs with veggies the night before and you can heat them up in the morning.

My favorites are oatmeal, greek yogurt, and homemade egg burritos. All are higher in protein and lower in sugar.

Banana with peanut butter is quick and the sugars are natural if you get the right kind of peanut butter. Also sometimes I eat a string cheese or two for some good protein on the go.

The simplest breakfast I have found is Special K with 40 calories per cup almond milk. I actually crave this in the morning. On the weekends I cook. We like egg omlettes. I may make waffles and eat only half with some fresh fruit. Greek yogurt does not require any work and it is very tasty.

Yoghurt and a piece of fruit, something nice and healthy that you can grab on the go.

I've started eating the Fiber One cereal bars. They're kind of expensive but they fill me up - and are around 140 calories. They make a 90 calorie bar but they're even more expensive. And I imagine the sugar content isn't that great. I also like to do oatmeal...if you can swing it, bring in a thing of plain oatmeal to work and have some fresh fruit in it...that's one of my faves. That or plain yogurt with fruit.

Greek yogurt and some whole grain toast or dry cereal to munch on the go.

Or warmed up leftovers, it doesn't have to be "breakfast" food.

I can't eat anything with chickory root in it, my stomach hates that stuff.
