can you get an adequate amount of protein in your daily diet from whole foods? if yes than whey is not needed, if no, then it may be something you want to look into
  • I'm usually pretty low on Proteins during the day. My goal for the day is around 72 and and usually have about 34-35 left over.

not sure of your weight but you should be consuming a lot more protein then 35-40g a day.

    so look into

    lean proteins
    eggs
    fish
    protein powders
    greek yogurt

I agree with this. Additionally, with that much left over, it's probably worth looking at your diet, first, and seeing if you can make changes to work some more protein-based options in. For example, adding grilled chicken to your salads, or including a scrambled egg or two with breakfast (you can pick up nearly 20g from a 2-egg omelet with a little cheese, for example).

And an adequate amount of taste-bud happiness.
