This is my second day on fittness pal. I have been a vegetarian for6 years. I know that I am lacking a lot of essential nutrition. I compensate with carbs!!! Not good. I am sick of eggs and the standard protein substitution. HELP!!!!!

For protein try:
Nuts,
Seeds,
Greek Yogurt,
Tofu,
Tempeh,
Edamame,
Greek Yougurt,
Milk products,
Soy products (soy milk, cheese etc),
protein powder,
etc.0 -
No reason to get the protein from eggs. Too many aren't healthy anyway.
Beans are great source of protein. I incorporate them into most of my meals in one way or the other.
Chick Peas on salads, red, pinto or black beans in other meals.
Nuts as snacks are great as well.
I am vegetarian but I am on and off vegan but when I do stick to the vegan diet, I get plenty of protein.0
