help exercises when inured

Was playing netball last night and went over on my ankle - bruised and swollen, anyone got any exercises that I could do to keep active without further injuring ankle?

Im desperate to loose weight and its just not shifting need help!

    Google "chair exercises" there are a lot out there, just don't be put off by the word "seniors" :laugh:

    Don't forget ice, ibuprofen and elevation for your ankle!

    If you're injured, you should work on healing. If it doesn't heal you'll set yourself back even further. There will be obstacles in any attainment of a goal. You just have to roll with them sometimes.

    Swimming is great low impact, and you might also try a stationary bike (some ankle movement, but less impact)
