OT - Online College

Have any of you worked with online colleges? Because of my job in IT, night classes won't work for me. I already have a BA in Psychology, but I'm never going to use it. So, I'm thinking of going for a BS in Information Technology from an online school... I could study anytime, anywhere so long as I have net access. I'll finish up with 8 more technical certifications than I have now, and have a second degree to boot. It seems almost too good to be true.

I'd really like to talk with someone whose actually gone down this path before if possible.

    I have completed a paralegal degree online. also, i am currently working on an accounting course over the internet.
    just remember when picking a school that it needs to be accredited.
    i found it was a very good choice for me. when i finished i got a diploma and a letter of recomendation and also they will give you a reference if you need it.
    also remember that you dont get much hands on work from these courses. i found it necessary to do some volunteer work at the legal aid building for some experience!
    go ahead and do it you will find it rewarding!

    I'm a Junior in my first BA (have an AA from another field that wasn't univ accredited) and have done 90% oline and love it as I work full-time as well. You will like it, unless you need that face to face time to concentrate.

    I am currently getting my MBA online. I work from home and I'm a stay at home mom so you can guess how often I actually get to leave the house. :laugh:

    No, it is nice. Especially if you have a job. Make sure you are signing up with a quality establishment though, preferably an institution that has experience with online courses. :flowerforyou:
