1 (5 Pound) Bag of Tart Apples
1/2 Cup Splenda Granular
4 Tablespoons Minute Tapioca
4 Tablespoons Red Hots Candy (Cinnamon Imperials)
1/2 Cup Water
Fat Free Coolwhip (optional)

Spray crockpot with butter flavored non-stick spray. Mix together in a small bowl; the Splenda, tapioca, candy and water. Set aside. Peel and core the apples (You should end up with 3 pounds of apples after peeling and coring). Cut into 1 inch square chunks and place into the crockpot. Pour the tapioca mixture over the apples and stir well to combine. Cook on high for 3-4 hours or until the apples are tender. Stir. Serve warm with a little fat free coolwhip on top, or refrigerate and serve cold.
