Hi everyone. Just thought I'd post a quick hello to everyone out there! I've joined this site on the advice of a few friends and am hoping the more social aspect of it will help me stick to my goals a bit better than I usually do (yep - another serial dieter!)
I'm based in the UK, and am living proof that unhealthy vegetarians exisit. Hoping to make a bit of a lifestyle change now, and have started going to the gym and running, but am still pretty clueless about fitness in general (in high school the PE teacher stopped even bothering to read my ever-so-convincing 'sick notes' and just sent me to the library!) so I'm looking forward to all of the advice and support I can get from fit, healthy people who understand things like "net calories", "optimum heart rates" and "everything in moderation(!!!)".
I turn 30 next summer, so my big goal is to start my 30's feeling a lot better about my body than I did in my 20's.
Please feel free to add me as a friend - I probably won't be able to help out much if you need proper help/advice, but I will be able to sympathise on the bad days!! :happy:
