Selecting an activity level?

I have a quick question. Do you all include your workout routines when selecting an activity level on mfp or do you just make a decision based on your general lifestyle without exercise included? I'm always debating what mine should be. Right now it's at lightly active. I am walking and lifting this at my job for the majority of the day mind you there is some sitting and walk 25-30 mins home after work. Doing 30 day shred in the morning (27 min workout vid) and pretty busy in the evening at home whether I cleaning or our st the store or playing with my daughter. Should I keep it as lightly active while not including my exercise?

    Don't include exercise...that's extra.

Well, it depends on what you set it as. If you set it as active, the number given already takes into account your exercise 3-4 times a week.

That's why i just leave mine as sedentary, and then add all my exercise. Seems more accurate to me.

I put that I was lightly active, disregarding any exercise, because I thought that since they asked you how much exercise you plan on doing, then that was when it was counted, if you see what I mean?

Mm... Well I am always on my feet lifting things, walking, and moving at work. At home I am usually always cleaning or moving or playing with my daughter...exercise not included in this...I think I should change t from lightly active to active...

That is not true. It does not count that at all. Try changing it and you will see, it doesn't change a thing.

You should put your activity level EXCLUDING exercise, because you are going to be logging your exercise separately.
