You'll be fine. It takes 3500 calories to gain a pound....

If it bothers you THAT MUCH, then file this feeling in your brain so you are less tempted should the opportunity to eat chocolate arise again in the near future

I get Dove Dark Chocolate Promises. I put 5 out and that is what I am allowed to eat. If I eat them all at once, then that's it, usually I stretch them out. They are about 200 calories but they really satisfy AND I don't do it every day, just once or twice a week. If you want chocolate, eat chocolate, don't beat yourself up over it. I am a firm believer in never depriving myself of anything I want to eat as long as it is in moderation.

I let myself have a piece of chocolate each day or some type of candy I love. It's my weakness, but if I just cut it out of my diet completely... I'd go crazy and buy bags of candy and eat it super quickly. I buy bags of Halloween candy type bags, fun size... and allow myself one, it's less than 100 calories and helps my huge sweet tooth.

If it didn't put you over your cals for the day then look at it as a treat and move on. It's ok to have treats now and then.

I was afraid to say that I eat chocolate almost everyday but since other people are confessing I will too.
I allow myself 6 dark chocolate kisses. There is always a bowl on my kitchen table.

I don't want to encourage anyone that needs to quit to get their cravings under control but I go with moderation and portion control. Not deprivation which for me leads to eating a whole bunch.

You can't succeed if you feel like every little splurge is something to be guilty about. Depriving yourself will only make you crave it more, and that can only lead to trouble. Even Lance Armstrong eats cheesecake now and then.

    Enjoy it and move on!
