Hey everyone,
I go to curves of a morning and I burn anywhere between 700-800 calories, I have a 15 minute walk there and back to work, then at lunch time I go walking for about 40-50 minutes. I ride a trial motorbike (one without a seat) every Friday and one Saturday each month in competition, but my weight hasn’t really budged, I lose a kilo then gain the kilo back. I eat healthy and only have one naughty day where i might have take out or something. The trainers say it’s because I keep gaining muscle that’s why I haven’t lost weight as such but I’ve been going since the start of July and seen girls who started the same time I did lose 7+ kilos, and i do more exercise than they do. Does anyone have any suggestions why this is and any suggestions to help me start losing weight?
Thank you

    Are you eating enough calories?

Are you strictly weighing and logging all of your food?

How bad is your 'naughty' day? You can't out-train a bad diet.

You must be feeling a difference in your clothing. I started on Aug 08 and did ny first evaluation last Saturday. I lost 4lbs and thought the same thing is that all ???? however my trainer said i lost 6 lbs of body fat and gained 4 back in muslce and that its a good thing cause the muscle gained helps burn the fat. So keep it up focus on your meals and exercise and you will see the pounds shed sooner than later. Dont give up your little achievements will add up!

I agree with the "take your measurements" post - if you are indeed losing fat but putting on muscle there should still be a difference in your size.

Also, have you tried having your thyroid checked?
You can be eating healthy + exercising alot but if your metabolism isn't working right it can be hard to see any results.

    Goodluck

Whats your water consumption like?? People hear the you need to drink water etc and thinks its a myth but honestly its not, and here's why:

Your liver is the major converter of fat to energy, and your kidneys are what purifies your body and removes the toxins out your blood. which is common knowledge among most. However what most don't know is that when your de-hydrated and not drinking enough water, your kidneys can't function properly. When this happens your Liver has to help out and clear out the toxins, because of this its not doing its job converting the fat , so in short your weight loss will slow/halt. Maybe try increasing your water intake.
