What a difference a year makes

Today I marked my 305th day on MFP. I have spent much time this last week reflecting on my journey. Some changes I have seen since this time last year.
1. I had to buy stretch size 14 jeans in order to be able to ride in the car for any length of time without being horribly uncomfortable.
2. I ate any candy I saw.
3. I looked for any excuse to not walk the dog.
4. I could only walk the dog 1/2 mile without being pooped.

Today:
1. I am wearing size 8 jeans and they feel AMAZING!!!!!!!!!
2. I had one snack size peanut M&M's yesterday, and I logged it!
3. I could not wait to get off work today so I could exercise.
4. I ran 2 miles, then walked the dog a mile tonight.

So, for all of you thinking that you cannot do this, think again! I started out with a goal of losing 20 pounds. I am now only a couple of pounds away from losing 50. I must say the last 5 have kicked my butt!!!!!!

I get compliments every day. I so love the "new" me. I have more energy now than I ever have. I have so many new friends here on MFP, and they are true friends!!!!!!!! When I don't feel like exercising, all I have to do is read one of their posts, and it will motivate me. Or, I can vent to them, and they encourage me.

I can truly say that MFP as changed my life, and I couldn't be happier!
