Supplement question

So mad.... today I bought some GNC Women's Ultra Mega Active powder - thought I could get multivitamins, CLA, L-Carnitine, Magnesium and Calcium supplements in one product instead of buying several. The guy there made it sound fantastic. Well, first I looked up a couple of things I wasn't sure of what they were from the ingredients list and found they have artifical sweetners - granted, it's the last two things in the ingredients, but still. I might have still tried it (my protein powder, which I love, has an artifical sweetners in it), but then I see it has some extra stuff for "energy and metabolism." That stuff scares me, so now I think I'll be returning it. Things like Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Ginko Bilboa Leaf Extract, Green Tea Leav Extract. There is other stuff that I don't know what it is and I assume it must go to this also?? I don't know - I'm a little nervous about it now. Does anyone know anything about this stuff?

I'm trying to eat cleaner - I'm especially trying to avoid artificial sugars and white flour. So, I'm thinking this doesn't fit well with my goals....?? Any other suggestions for a cleaner supplement?

Really? They have a test for that? I don't eat very many fruits and I don't have a lot of variety in my diet (cuz I suck at cooking), so I guess I only assume I need supplements. But I guess it would be nice to know for sure.... I'll make a call to look into it. Thanks :-)
