Walking the distance...

I am aiming to walk the distance of half of a "marathon"
Yes I am aiming to walk 21 kilometers / 13.1 miles
I will post here the distance I walk everyday as I build up to the 21 km mark,
I may start off small but my goal is big, to walk 21 km and lose 30 kilo's :)

    I need to be fitter and healthier for a good example for my kids and to fit my wedding dress in about 18 months :)

    Walked 3.48 km in 51 minutes today 3/11/11

    Friday I walked 3.88 km in 61 mins and today (saturday) I walked 2.4 km in 35 min with a friend, YAY!

    Ok, well I didn't walk Sunday or Monday (due to bad weather) but... Tuesday I did 3.91 km in 51 mins .... Wednesday I did 10km in 2 separate lots, first lot was an hour, 2nd lot was 50 mins and about 6 km was in the 60 min walk, so I am 1/2 way to the 21km mark :) YAHOOO! bad weather again today (thursday) so I doubt I'll be walking but good news, I am going shopping, so thats exercise.... bad note I'm going out for tea tonight, so I will have to make sure I eat healthy as i have weigh in tomorrow! scared as hell about what the numbers will be but what choice do I have, I must weigh myself !
