Need to stay warm

I work in an unheated warehouse and it gets bone chilling cold. My old go-to was hot chocolate. But I have given up sugar (or am trying really hard to anyway) and need unsweetened alternatives. I am not looking for artifical/natural sweetner alternatives...I just don't want it to be sugary in any way since I crave it when I have it. I will not drink tea or coffee. Any ideas?

Umm. Is it all tea you are against? There are thousands of teas out there.0

What about a cup-a-soup? You can get quite yummy low calorie ones. I also work in a freezing cold place, they really help during the winter months. x0

I believe Swiss Miss has a low sugar, or NO sugar added hot chocolate.
I generally drink English Breakfast tea0 -
Whiskey. lol0

Try a cup of miso soup! Something different. (Just beware of the sodium...)0

Whiskey. lol
This is a decent go, throw in some lemon juice and hot water and call it a "Hot Toddy" and it''s medicinal.0 -
It gets really cold in my office to (today it's around 40, but in the winter, it'll be worse). Have you tried just hot water with lemon or a drop of whatever flavor extract you prefer? I keep Peppermint extract and lemons around all the time. Fresh lemon in your water will give you vitamin C and iron - much needed for women!0

Nothing against teas but the flavor...it tastes like I'm drinking hay...with flavors. I certainly haven't tried them all but of the ones I have tried, I have to choke them down and they're cold by the time I am halfway through a cup. (I like your sweater...great job!)0

Hot apple cider,
Hot lemon water.
There are herbal teas, that do not really contain tea, more like flavored waters. You could also warm up flavored waters.0 -
I have some very nice fruit and spice teas that are fine without sugar, or you could add sweetener if you wanted.
If you don't like the fruit ones, try a spiced one. I like my cinnamon and licorice teas! Even peppermint tea is quite nice.0 -
Hot water........I drink it all the time. No cals, no sugar, no nuffink apart from good ol' H2O....:drinker: :drinker: :drinker: :drinker:

my wife likes warm water with lemon in it. I don't understand that one...but whatever works.
Like someone else said...there are TONS of different tea's out there. some really good ones too that don't need sweeteners0 -

Try fruit or herbal flavors of tea. There are so many out there, they don't all taste like green tea (which does have a grassy flavor) or Earl Grey.0 -

Yes it does!
Edit: And it tastes almost the same, too...0 -
you could still do hot chocolate, dark cocoa with stevia.
Soups like potato or tomato.
I don't care for tea but I do like chamomile tea because it doesn't taste like typical tea.0 -

I love the soups in a cup! They are perfect!0 -
Just curious why you won't drink tea. There are tons of herbal teas that are decaf. Many have a nice yummy taste without having to sweeten them. And teas of different varieties have been shown to have health benefits, too: http://www.2basnob.com/health-benefits-of-tea.html
I get most of my water from drinking various decaffeinated teas. I do add a touch of Splenda, but I'm weaning off of that as much as possible. This morning I had cinnamon apple spice...it was delicious and had no caffeine.0 -

Food that is sweet (like hot chocolate) that claims to be "no sugar added" or "light" or any variation of that means they replaced sugar with artificial sweetner. Nobody wants unsweetened cocoa hot chocolate
I'd second (or third) the hot water with lemon suggestion if you really are against all teas.
Also... electric heated socks. Heaven, for when you can't use your microwavable slippers http://www.cabelas.com/product/Cabelas-Battery-Heated-Boot-Socks/721675.uts?Ntk=AllProducts&searchPath=/catalog/search.cmd?form_state=searchForm&N=0&fsch=true&Ntk=AllProducts&Ntt=heated+socks&WTz_l=Header%3BSearch-All+Products&Ntt=heated+socks&WTz_l=Header;Search-All+Products0 -

My favorite teas are Celestial Seasonings' Christmas teas. They have several varieties, but my favorites are Candy Cane Lane and Sugar Cookie Sleigh Ride (tastes like a liquid sugar cookie!). I'm not fond of green tea either, but I love the red teas and white teas. Try adding a touch of Splenda and a little creamer or milk to them and see if that helps.0 -
Hot water? I suppose I could give it a try...
I already wear a polo, thermal top, sweatshirt and large coat, thermal pants, work pants, wool socks and insulated boots, a hat, cowl and gloves. When I am especially cold, I wrap up in a blanket I brought from home...when I'm not up in the shelving. I don't think I can dress any warmer.0 -
Swiss Miss makes a NO SUGAR added hot cocoa. It's not bad and only 60 cals.0
-
It would have some sugar I guess, but you could try mulled cider - find an organic, unsweetened variety, and steep it in a pot with a little bit of orange peel, a couple of cloves, and some cinnamon...you can add a splash of brandy to really warm you up! Also, no tea of any kind? There are so many! I can think of almost 80 just off the top of my head...if you could say what you don't like about tea, I'd be totally happy to try and think of one that you might like : )
EDIT: Hmm, just read that you feel they taste like hay/get cool too quickly...in that case, and for anything hot you plan on drinking, I'd get a thermos! And in terms of tasting like hay, just try staying away from the green/grassier flavors (jasmine, chamomile), and maybe give something spiced (like chai rooibos, which has the redbush leaf, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger and clove, usually) or a little fruity (yogi tea makes a really nice "skin detox" tea with rosehips and hibiscus that's a little sweet, a little tart, and a little fruity). If you're looking for low-cal, flavored, unsweetened, hot drinks I really think experimenting with teas is one of your best options!0 -

I'd also say that when it is lunchtime you have something proper and warm (if you have access to a microwave) to eat rather than a sandwich or salad. I usually take leftovers for lunch in the winter and heat them up - seems to warm me up from the inside.
It sucks being cold!0
